—REVELRY x CELIO'S DESIGN—
Hancock Park, Los Angeles, California. 2020
Welcome to the beautiful home of two of the most prominent designers working in LA’s highly coveted special events industry and the creative forces behind thousands of magnificent and jaw-dropping events in Southern California. We’re delighted to invite Elle Decor to get an exclusive glimpse into the private home of Edgar Zamora, Head Designer and Founder of Revelry Event Designers, and Celio Almeida, Floral Designer and Founder of Celio’s Design.
Revelry, with Zamora at the helm, is known for designing spectacular custom drapings, events with trendsetting and unique decor, and upscale furnishing with exquisite, glamorous details adored by top planners and A-list celebrities, such as Barbara Streisand, Jennifer Aniston, and Justin Bieber to name a few. Celio’s Design has quickly become one of the top five floral designers in Los Angeles’ highly competitive event industry. Incredible craftsmanship, impeccable attention to detail, and innovative creations make Almeida the go-to floral designer among the Hollywood elite.
Despite their tremendous success and the glitz and glory that naturally come with their line of work, Zamora and Almeida remain humble and down-to-earth. Both designers grew up in South America - Zamora in Argentina and Almeida in Brazil - where vibrant colors, religion, family, and tradition are incorporated into all aspects of life and particularly in the home. Inspired by their upbringing, Zamora and Almeida wanted their shared home to be a perfect balance between the cultural elements typical for South America mixed with the edgy LA design and over-the-top glamour that is synonymous with the couple’s professional style.
The exterior of their home features all the elements of a Spanish-style house including soft, yellow paint, wrap-around wrought-iron balconies, an abundance of bougainvillea, and a beautiful casita by the pool, while the spacious interior showcases white Carrara Marble flooring, grandiose light fixtures, and gold-accents that are all prominent features from Revelry’s luxurious repertoire.
Almeida’s love of color has brought warm mustard tones, pops of orange, red, and cobalt blue into the home, while Zamora’s passion for art has added character and intrigue to the space. The couple’s extensive art collection, primarily from the Cusco School with some pieces dating back to the 16th Century, adds an unexpected and fascinating style twist to the overall modern interior. Zamora and Almeida have designed a sophisticated yet cozy home in their charming LA-neighborhood where they can comfortably retreat from the whirl-wind world of La La Land with their beloved dogs, Bella and Pablo. We hereby invite Elle Decor to make a visit and explore the home further [Revelry & Celio’s Design].
